Cassandra La Boussière
Elven bard from far off
Born to an unremarkable mother, from an ignorable father, she was destined to witness greatness, but never really be part of it. Raised in a tavern, where the OTHER tavern maid turned up to be the lost daughter of the late sultan who was assasinated by a new bizzare religion that was based more on oppression than enlightenment; picked on by the young man who would be the warrior who helped restore the rightful line to the throne; apprentice to the bard who chronicled this, and much to her chagrin, didn’t get mentioned in a single one of the tales told about it, and victim and lone survivor when that evil cult burned the inn to the ground, she was adopted by the Bard and showed great promise in being completely unremarkable, much to his annoyance. Born to a richer family she’d have made a good wizard, and born to a less honest one an excellent assasin, The girl longed to be someone big and important, maybe a princess, or a hero of some sort. However being a skilled flutist and dancer is less likely to slay a dragon than a sword user, so after waking up one morning to find her master slain by the cult that has been plaguing her since childhood, she decided to go north, take on a new name and write great stories about the things she did, or the different persona she took on to hide from the fact she had such dull origins.
