Finding himself on the wrong end of a belligerent veteran’s sword, Ibram’s life flashes before his eyes. Or at least the last 12 hours of it…

A pair of travelers arrive at the Imperial capital and receive a crash-course introduction to life in the big city. Serribon makes the acquaintance of some friendly locals. Miriam decidedly doesn’t.

In which the bell tolls...

Vargas makes preparations for his trip to the capital while Ibram endures the trials of incarceration. Then something strange occurs… most perturbatory.

Cassandra has a much cooler adventure than the rest of us, only later to discover it was all a dream.

The 4th wall is rather crumbly on this one, like a delicious piece of pie.

In which no good deed goes unpunished...

Serribon and Miriam attempt to escape her mysterious pursuers by strolling down a well-lit street. This tactic proves surprisingly unsuccessful. A tearful revelation and a parting of the ways soon follow.

Destiny.

LOG

Mostly we’re all fucking cold. Also a bear. And a dinosaur. Someone’s trying to kill us. Vargas soon sorted that out. Also, a half orc gets a terminal lesson in manners. And Tordek dies (offscreen) like a proper dwarf.

In which an unassuming half-orc is out of his element...

Hisham gets shanghaied twice. Proves to be much less of a jerk than Krusk (RIP), and ends up very cold. But hey! There’s Miriam, so he gets to stay warm. Bastard. Double triple ultra bastard (it must be the tusks).

No bears though. Just dogs. Seems that our party has a tendency to piss off the natural world. Somewhere, Leyd is laughing at us.

In which our heroes finally break the ice...

LOG

Vargas, Cassandra, and their companions continue their underground trek, while Serribon and Ibram journey south along the frozen coast. Hisham and Miriam reach the camp which they had sighted in the distance. Aside from all of the dead people, things are going quite swimmingly, until someone decides to light a fire.
